At ProGARM we have a culture of consistently improving our products and services. To emphasise this, almost 50% of our core product range has either been developed as a brand new product or upgraded in terms of protection, comfort and quality within the past 12 months.
To better communicate these changes with our customers we’ve decided to produce quarterly product updates to bring everyone up to speed with developments to the range here at ProGARM. These will consist of a summary article (such as this), an email along with our current newsletter (subscribe here) and potentially video content later down the line.
As the majority of our product development comes from user feedback and trials, it’s imperative that we improve our communications when it comes to changes in our range as there may be better options for you and your team that you might not even be aware of. The updates will be sent quarterly to all our customers (both end users and distributors) and our newsletter subscribers to keep everyone in the loop and to make sure you receive the updates from here on out you can subscribe below.

Brand New Accessories
This quarter has been all about our accessories range, with the introduction of two new products to the range on the back of user trials and feedback. These are a brand new FR Belt to help you improve the fit of your ProGARM trousers without compromising protection and a Photon Headtorch, an upgraded headtorch option to go alongside our Head Protection Range.
FR Belt (2400)
In response to a lot of end users wearing unsuitable belts to improve the fit of their trousers, we developed a new inherent flame-resistant belt to compliment our range of trousers and provide a suitable accessory that wasn’t going to compromise the user’s safety.
The ProGARM ® 2400 FR Belt is made from inherently flame resistant materials, buckle and end tip made from PA 6.6 for added strength and durability. For use with ProGARM trousers for improved fit without compromising protection against Arc Flash incidents.

Photon Headlight (2671)
With the number of daylight hours decreasing each day, the importance of good lighting while working in low visibility is paramount. Our new headtorch provides an improved option over the 2670, with a brighter LED light and more robust design.
The 2671 Headtorch is waterproof and shock resistant with an adjustable head. It’s designed to be easily and stably mounted on the helmet by an elastic strap and VELCRO® Brand fasteners. Suitable for use with ProGARM Arc Flash Helmets.
New PPE Regulations
Until very recently, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) legislation has been defined by a UK law which was based on an EU Directive introduced 25 years ago. As research, development and technology has moved on, thankfully, so has EU Law.
The old PPE Directive has now been replaced by new PPE Regulations (EU) 2016/425, which came into force on 21 April 2018 and must be fully implemented within 12 months.
