The ProGARM 9700 Arc Flash Hood is a premium protective garment designed for use in close proximity to live electricity. This hood features an integrated helmet and transparent grey visor, providing maximum protection for workers in high-risk environments. The hood is rated at 47 cal/cm², making it suitable for industries such as rail, petrochemical, utilities, industrial electrical, and power generation.
Constructed from VXS+ inherent fabric, this Arc Flash Hood is durable and will not lose its protective qualities even after multiple washes. The hood, visor, and helmet assembly have been tested and certified to EN 166:2002, GS-ET-29:2011 (APC 2), and ASTM F2178-ATPV 47 cal/cm² standards, ensuring the highest level of safety for the wearer.
The outer shell fabric of the hood is made from a special weave 395gsm fabric, while the lining is made from VXS+ inherent 200gsm fabric. This fabric meets standards such as EN ISO 11612:2015, EN ISO 11611:2015, EN 1149-5:2008, and BS-EN 61482. The visor is a premium anti-fog coated highly transparent arc flash protective shield, meeting standards such as NFPA 70E and ANSI Z87.1. The helmet is manufactured from high-quality ABS material and features a Dry-Tech sweatband for maximum comfort.
The assembly of hood, visor and helmet has been tested to and certified to EN 166:2002, GS-ET-29:2011 (APC 2), and ASTM F2178-ATPV 47 cal/cm².

Manufactured from high quality strong ABS material, up to 20% lighter than most other helmets, features Dry-Tech sweatband for maximum comfort and an adjustable ratchet. Meeting the following standards:
Delivery will be made to the Buyer’s business location. The Buyer is responsible for unloading the goods and adhering to any health and safety requirements. Once delivered, the Buyer assumes all risks for unloading and storage.
Delivery is considered complete when the goods arrive at the Buyer’s location. Delivery charges may apply based on the order value and location.
Delivery dates are estimates, and delays do not entitle the Buyer to cancel the order or claim damages.
If the Buyer refuses delivery, payment is still due immediately, and the Buyer is liable for any storage or related costs. If goods are not collected within 14 days, the Company may dispose of them.
Shortfalls and Non-Delivery
The Company’s record of the quantity shipped is final unless the Buyer provides conclusive evidence otherwise.
The Company must be notified in writing within seven working days of any non-delivery or shortfall.
The Company’s liability for non-delivery or shortfall is limited to re-delivery or issuing a credit note.
Returns
Returns may be accepted in exceptional circumstances if the goods are undamaged, returned within 21 days with a return reference, and notified within 14 days of delivery.
Returns are not accepted if the goods have been altered, marked, or made to the Buyer’s specifications.
A 20% restocking fee applies to returned goods not suitable for immediate resale. Additional costs for making goods resaleable will be charged to the Buyer. If the goods cannot be resold, the Buyer remains liable for the full price.
